Merritting Attention Basketball Club

Program Overview

Established in 2005, the Merritting Attention Basketball Club is a tax-exempt 501(c) 3 organization. Over the past 6 years, the organization has established itself as a highly competitive, academically sound, competently coached, community friendly traveling program that is recognized throughout the country. We are proud members of the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA), and the Youth Basketball of America (YBOA). We are proud to be recognized as one of the premier basketball organizations throughout New England. Our travel program was launched in 2005 with just four boys teams. Two of which qualified and competed in the AAU National Championships the first year. In 2006, we expanded our program to eight teams (six boys and two girls team). We had all six boys teams qualify for the AAU and USSSA National Championships.

Since 2005, MABC has won three National Championships (2007 & 2009), 15 Massachusetts State Championships and 15 New England Super Regional Championships. (click here for more accomplishments).

MABC Bengals Travel Program is essential in developing the best student-athlete. It offers a level of competition to prepare our players for all levels of basketball. MABC provides an avenue that coaches at all levels can see our student-athletes compete at the highest level possible. MABC Bengals is a necessity for the dedicated student-athlete looking to improve their skills on the court and in the classroom in order to attain a college scholarship.
